Ed keep up the good work you have done a heck of a job, some people would gripe if you hung them with a new ROPE.

    Default 2847

    Thanks ED

What the newer members don't know, that I will share with the board. There are 2847 members on this site. What it doesn't show, is of that count, there is probably almost double that, if you would count other family members.

From my view point, Ed is a person of great integrity, trusting, unselfish, giving, and loving just has to be in that mix of words. This coming April, this new board format will be 2 years old. During that time, Ed had lost his job, but he did not quit running this forum. He perservered, thru his own hard times, to improve this site even more. Remember also, that he has his own family to provide for, and take care of.

As a moderator, I respect him for all that he puts into this board. All the moderators voluntered, and he accepted each of us on, to keep check on the board. Trusting us to do all the right things, without really knowing anything about any of us.

No one should ever judge another, but rather try walking in that person's shoes.

i to think this is one of the best sites i have found and i have search the last 6 years . some time back i presented a post at that time i didn`t know ed had lost his job he may have another now . i think to show some appreciation as befor to help hem out to keep the site going and do a better job [ NOT THAT HE ISENT DOING A GOOD JOB NOW ] there is alwayes some room for updates and improvements in anny site
i know ed is probabley gitting some advertisment on the site that payes hem some . as befor i think we all can pitch in and help $10.00 to $15.00 a year wouldn`t hurt any of us and i am sure ed would use it for improvement`t . most of us pay that for a magazine or two in a 12 montrhs time and don`t git as much out of it as we do this site .
i had ed`s address at one time if some one knowes it post it an a forum so some can express their appreciation other than words .
    thanks

Gosh darn, there is a tear in my eye after reading all this warmth. It's interesting in life, it's always how one handles "difficulties" that their true nature is revealed. Whether it be loosing one's job, or a Website outage. And the messages before me show everyone the true nature of a Crappie.com Crappie Fisherman. In other words, you guys and gals are GREAT. I really appreciate all the offers of help and encouragement. And over time, I plan to visit each or your states and taste the Crappie! lol

My ISP is blaming a rain/ice storm we had here on the outage. See, even the weather can blow you off the Internet just like it can blow you off the water! Mother Nature!

Anyway, you all are great, go catch some Crappie.

I think papasage has a great idea. Let's all pitch in $20 or more to help Ed with the expenses of keeping this site going. You can send funds through www.PayPal.com using his email address - [email protected]. It's great that so many have stepped up to express their appreciation, now let's put our money where our mouth is!!! I've already sent mine.
