I'd wear there *** out on that lil. @#$$*#
That's cool looking. I'm sure it will catch fish, but I'm a firm believer that baits are designed to catch fishermen. This is sure to catch both.

what feelay said, x 2
As always, good lookin jig. The flash should be just right. The only difference I see in head color is from light to dark. If they are hitting a darker head, they sometimes won't touch a white or chart head. Back to dark and they go back to hitting. I tie and use a lot of bare lead head jigs and catch lots of fish on them. Fishawk is a real good deepwater vertical jig man and he pays a lot of attention to small details. His input is well tested.

It's lemon lime. Just in time for summer.
All you kiddies out there. ReelfootYankee grew up were they teach weird English. *** means lips, and @#$$*# means beautiful jig. I visited his neck of the woods once and it took me weeks to figure out what they were saying, but now I'm fluent in (*%$#&^%)(*. Oh, (*%$#&^%)(* stands for redneck french.
Good things come to those who bait.
never did use painted heads and I catch fish. ????
Sure you can, but I prefer painted and if I don't paint them I still use clear nail polish to keep the lead from oxidizing. Most paint I feel look like just unpainted once it get deep enough anyway. Shallow I do feel it can make a difference with head color. Sometime the unpainted may out fish the painted, but other times the painted head will out do the unpainted. Even what color can make a difference at times.
Oh and try selling nothing but unpainted heads and see how many orders you get compared to painted heads.
