them silver ones need to dry out more than the green or white, I leave mine out on newspaper in the sun for a couple hours and they seem to stay on a lot better

Thats the only ones I have used so far and they seemed almost gooey. I usually just pour some out on the front of my boat when fishing and plus leave the top off and they harden up nicely, the regular ones. The silver ones never did get firm.
