Quote the Cane Pole"I gotta go put a long rope on my dock and and secure it to the bank. Don't want the coast guard thinking I am Tom Sawyer on a raft.
At 370 feet, the dock can float off the spud poles..

What a genuine pain in the butt." Un quote-lets hope & pray the water don't get to 370 feet. Cane you need to hire some young bucks to swim out to that dock & tie it up for you-bet there is some real current moving there.....Good Luck Cane..................

CP what's up with this?? You don't a robot or gadget to go out and tie that up
I would have bet you would have already had some kind of plan or device for that.
Your slipping in your old age :D:D:D:D
Be careful, some bad water there!

I am a victim of rumors of mass destruction. Rumors have been flying over the river stages and how high the water will rise.

Unlike capitol hill, I always have a contingency plan. Rope-a-dope. I tied the dock to the bank (as always). I been here before.

Pain in the butt to get floating dock back on the spud posts. Been there.

Maybe some battery packs, some Nav and a couple GPS trolling motors and the dock would just come home. Then some Hyd spud post, lower them pull the dock over them and then raise the post.

GPS guided Geo-stationary dock. Possibilities. It would definitely work.
