nice canoe you got
Here is a picture of my Nucanoe. I bought a 12' tandem for fishing with my wife. I put a 55lb thrust Vari-speed MotorGuide SW on it and it flies around the lake. I am using a 35amp/hour AGM wheelchair battery, and it lasted all day without dropping much. My wife caught all the fish - a crappie, largemouth, and a rainbow - all using the 1.5" Slider grub.
Given the lighter weight of this type of battery, I might connect two in parallel if I find I need more time on the lake.

Check your local regs on registering the canoe.... some states require you to register it if it has any motor on it (including electric TM). I'd hate to see you get nailed with a fine.
nice ride by the way.... I just stopped fishing out of a 16' Old Towne Guide canoe last fall.
Cheers

PS
I love that light weight aluminum trailer too by the way.... you could pull that rig behind a TRIKE easily.
Very nice indeed! Congrats!

Fishing Magician: Yes, PA requires registration. I have a temporary tag on the front of the boat - waiting to get my numbers. The fine here is $89 for out of date registration.
I didn't mention that the Nucanoe is has a lot of stability - I can even stand to fish or pole. I think I am going to have a lot of fun with this.

very nice, I like it
Nice ride!!!

Sweet little ride ya got there. I'd be tempted to engieer me a way to steer that motor without twisting around though. Bet you'll be fine for a long time with the 1 batterty though. Not much resistance with a canoe.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
Yes, I have a tiller extension that telescopes to 50". You do need that especially if I am out myself and move the seat more toward the middle for balance

Nice! You mentioned it has good stability and just curious where the stability comes from on this type? Does it have a wide bottom or something? Would be nice for running around in stealth mode, but I would worry a bit about on a huge lake like this one. If I had a better back though I would sure be interested as I bet that thing will move pretty darn good on the TM. I am guessing it's fiberglass? Don't really know.
