When ever I go to the lake or backpacking, I always let someone know where Im going and when Ill be back. At least they know where to look for the pieces.
I drove down to the boat harbor and my friend Willie was sitting on a stoll with two lines out fishing for white bass or a channel cat. His wife had kicked him of the house, said he was getting in the way. He had a big black eye and scabs on his cheek. I ask him what happend. He said he was out on the rocks on the wind ward side of the causway and slipped and fell. He is 6'3" and 300 lbs. and 70 years old. Luckly there was a guy down the shore 100 yards who saw him fall and run up and kept him from falling in the water. The temp was 37*. He and I had talked before about going by our self and agreed that we would call each other when ever we go, he did'ent call.
Be safe out there and take some one with you.

I am a heterosexual male. 2 Chronicles 7:14
"If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
I fish alone 90% of the time, but I also practice extreme caution when I fish risky locations. That guy should not have been fishing where he was alone. Obviously he lacks sense. I have a friend who is 84 yrs old, trip and healthy, and he thinks he can still do things he did when he was younger. He is hurting himself more and more often, but continues to put himself in risky situations. He is one of those type A, no one is tellin me what I can and can't do, and I'm gonna prove it to all you bastigas types.

Good things come to those who bait.
i had to save a big fella like that one time. I do not know how I managed to catch him and get him up but I did. I fish alone mostly when it is cold. Hard to find people to go sometimes
I fish alone about 85% of the time. Most of my fishing buddy's are into fishing for green carp.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.
yeah I hate fishing alone, but it's about the only way I get to fish. everyone seems to be at work or doing something else when I go.

I would rather die fishing alone then be at home with a mad wife any day.
