    Palomar. Hard to beat the Strenght of this knot.
    I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

    I always use a surgeon's loop for small jigs & mono. line. It's easy to tie and allows the jig more action. Be sure to wet the knot before tightening!

    Surgeons loop
    uni to uni splice
    If you ever get hit with a bucket of fish, be sure to close your eyes.

    I vote for the Orvis (Becker) knot. It's comparable in strength to either the Palomar or the Trilene knots but much simpler to tie. Here's a diagram on how to tie:

    I like the Palomar knot. It has served me well. Most knots if properly tied will work well.
