1/32 with 1/24 a close second.
1/32 or 1/24 for water less than 7 feet, after that it's 1/16 or 1/8th.

I fish 1/16 most of the time because i like the fall rate and i feel it's not too light and not too heavy. If i fish deep or tightline, i'll use 1/8 ounce but that's not often.
1/24 is definitely my favorite. I can thank Skip for that. I just wish I could find them in stores and stop thinking about molding my own.
1/16 oz. hair jig mostly.
1/16th
That is hard for me to say because early in the spring I like 1/32 most by far, but once summer gets here I like 1/8, but also like even going to a 1/4 Oz. Even though I like a 1/16 a good bit, I don't use them a lot because of the two favorites for their times of year. Pre Spawn and post spawn is probably the time I use 1/16 most.
I do plan on using a 1/16 this spring under a cork when I fish like that, but most of my spring fishing will be long mine trolling of flipping a 1/32 oz Roadrunner to the bank with a long pole. Not even using the reel for the most part and just having like 14' of line out and swing it from side to side and pulling it along as I slowly go down the bank with my TM.

1/16 is definitely the best all around for me, I like the fall rate if casting and can still feel well when vertical jigging. If I feel I need 1/8 while vertical jigging and can get away with it i'll just put two on and double my chances and still feel the bite fine.. Besides the fish wanting a bigger looking bait sometimes, Why do you guys prefer the 1/8 and the 1/4 oz sizes?? Is it because your using such large tackle and long rods with the 10# line and such. I guess with that size tackle you need a larger head to feel like you need to???????? Just asking because I always feel like the bigger heads fish so fast in cooler temps.
