    Thumbs up

    I love the little Mom and Pop places too. We have a new hunting and fishing place in East Tennessee that you might want to check out called Legend's. It is not a Mom and Pop store but it is not Wally World either. They have a pretty good selection of crappie baits there as well as some nice rods. My son loves going in there to see all the stuff animals they have. I think his favorite is the full stuffed polar bear. He also loves going into the Mom and Pop store where all the older men set around telling stores. But I think that is because they all treat him like he is their grandson. :D
    If in doubt, cross their eyes!!

    there are actually three bait shops around my area and I make a stop at all three sometimes to spread the wealth. you are right on the money these people don't mind sharing a cup of coffee with you and shoot the breeze about were the bite is and what to use to get it. We do need to purchase
    every possible item from these people in our communities that make you feel like they need your business, It no doubt will cost more money to get the material things from them but you can't get the friendship are info from these bigger dept. stores.get your rod and reels and tackle boxes etc. from them and help out the smaller guys with what you can. Because you have no one else to blame when they close there doors and you can't pick up that forgotten ice are drinks on your way there.
    GOT BITE? -----~<*)###>{
