    Good idea cp.
It's not the numbers or the size, it's the time spent on the water!

Good job. Better for our fiberglass boats.

As far as I know nobody uses them up here in nothern Michigan. But the ones made out of wood with the coffee can in the middle look great. Looks like no matter witch way you drop them they will stand up right.

Tight fit. I used a Dewalt one inch hole saw. You have to force the pvc thru the holes. By doing this, you don't have to do any tying of the pvc pipes.

The pvc is 3/4 inch thin wall. I cut 3 pieces from a 10 fooot piece. 40 inch stakes. Just rite. The 3/4 inch is cheaper than the 1/2 inch stuff. 10 foot piece of pvc 1.59@10 foot at Lowes. Hard to find scrap pvc anymore.

Takes me about 15 minutes to make one. I am slow.

That's right. Same applies to the the plastic ones. Plastics are just simpler and easier to handle.

I relocated the drilled holes. This makes it easier to build. The 2 body pieces are centered and the top piece is offset to one side. This keeps the drilled holes in the flatter part of the coffee can ie container.

    Man oh man!

I tossed probably ten of the red "Foldgers" cans into the recycling bin just last week.

Lately, I've been enjoying the "Chock Full O' Nuts" brand. Guess I'll switch back!

These might look small enough I can sneak'em into the Ohio waters... Shhhhhhh!
