i seen a comercial today and the rhino lining company showed a boat that was sprayed it looked good
home depot has 5/4 boards used for decking outside and supposed to be water proofdont seem too heavy

Here is a couple links to products I'm familar with I think the best for pickup beds is Rhinolinings, but it is expensive to have done and is sprayed on very thick (good for the bed of trucks). I've also had good luck with the do it yourself herculiner, it can be bought a auto parts stores very reasonable, but it don't go on as thick, but you just roll and brush it on. I've use herculiner to seal up steal water tanks with a 1/8th inch rust holes in and had good luck.
