Wow. That is the best response to a product I have seen in a long time. Sounds like I found my next pole.

    Thanks! :beer

I have 4 seven foot ugly stick lite rods. They are good tuff rods.

Yes, I love them for short casting and dock shooting! The best!!! I don't know about the longer jiging 9' or 10'. or trolling rods.

Keep some for the pan, let the larger ones go back for another day!

The bad thing about Ugly sticks is you have to loose them or throw them away so you can
get new ones. I have several different sizes & like them all I like the one piece instead of the 2 piece i have had trouble with the top half coming off. Jim C.

Ugly Stick is the only pole I buy. Don't matter if it's ultra lite or a heavy baitcaster

All I use is the Ugly Stick. I have Ultra Lites in 5' and lite pros in 7'. My little ultra lites have landed huge carp, big small mouths and large mouths. I haven't caught a catfish yet though - I haven't really tried. I love the ugly stick.

I use a 9 footer for tight places or dock fishing and it is the preferred rod. Looking for a longer pole 12 foot that will not break. Such a pain and hazzle replacing those broken rods. ugly stick for me.

I have 5, 12ft. Ugly Sticks for Sturgeon fishing. They are tuff sticks. Catching 150 to 300 pd. Sturgeon on 40lb. test. Never have broke any. Broke two Eagle Claw 12 footers casting them out. Both broke just below the reel. They were nothing but junk. Will never buy another Eagle Claw rod.

Sac-a lait, where did you get your Ugly Stick Crappie Rod. I have two, 9 & 10 and really like them but cannot find them anymore. Any around Jackson, MS?
