This may not be the right spot for this post but it's where I thought it would be seen the most.

24 hours ago I was in Louisville at Norton Hospital saying goodbye to my mother.

Happened quick! What started out as my sister tell'n me "we got a little problem & we need to run some test", turned into "you better hurry up and get here if you wanta say goodbye!"

She would have celibrated her 71st BD the 15th of this month.

I won't go into all the details but it's not the way you want to see a loved one go. We had to make the call to forego further efforts. There was absolutly a 0% chance she would ever recover. Tuffest call I've ever had to make, but I know in my heart it was the right one.

So in closing. If you've been putting off hug'n your mom or haven't told here you love her lately, don't put it off. You might not get the chance.

In case you haven't guessed, I was kinda a mama's boy.

Tuff day! Tuff, Tuff day!
