Since I vertical Jig alot, I like to use fluorocarbon line, I think I tried just about every brand name. I have found that the P-line Halo and/or Seaguar InvisX. Both have outperformed every brand I have used. For the price vicious is a very good fluorocarbon too.

P-line Halo has a very light green color on the spool, but is invisible once it hits the water. It handles very good for a fluorocarbon, The Seaguar InvisX looks really strange on the spool, but is one of the best lines I have ever used.

    Good Luck!

hi vis braid....prefer power pro. invest the $$ upfront for line and you will save so much on the back end with costs of jig heads etc. I have had some power pro on the same reel for over 3 years and I fish every weekend.

I have to say i like P-Line. Works well when vertical jigging. I have also used the Wally Marshall hi-vis on some poles that i longline with.

I have to agree with you. I've tried almost every new line that comes out and i still go back to stren clear for casting jigs. I'll fish it against any line out there.

Still running some Spiderwire 10 lb/2lb dia and 15lb/4lb dia thqt I spooled 5 years ago on my jiggin/slip bobber poles. Trying the Mr Crappie on my spinning outfits because Vanish was terrible about throwing loops.

I tend to stay with either Stren or Spider wire in #4 or #6 pounds. It depends on what is working on a given day for me. I like them both. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
