went to bbb this afternoon after work and caught a pig within seconds of arriving at my first spot. she went a little over 2 pounds. and black, yeah. thought it was gonna be a great day,but never got another bite. so i threw her back for another day.

Hey Mark, I was talking to CD yesterday afternoon and he was saying if he could go, he'd head to Black Bayou and he just KNEW he would catch 7 or 8 of those 1.5 - 2 lb crappie....He must have been thinking of a secret spot or something! Like Johnny said, at least you got out on the water! Maybe next time!

it aint no secret spot. hehehe. can you spell B-R-I-D-G-E?? hahaha. i mean, the slip cork did not even get down before he hit it. i was still spooling out line. i just new if i fished around under there for an hour or so i would end up with a mess. but i didn't. i think this fresh water and varying temperature has them a little spooked.

but needless to say that's why we call it fishing and not catching.
