Yeah they built a new bridge there just in front of the dam. The old road has been made into a "fishing pier". They only left a small portion of the old bridge and its opposite the Ringgold side. They made a place to park and fish below the spillway there.

We put in at the dam, East side there is a launch. We fished up the channel a couple of miles. The channel is really not marked very good but if you pay close attention and watch your depth finder you can follow it. Good luck!

There are two things to aim for in life: First, to get what you want; and after that, to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieves the second. Author unknown, but I like it!

If they built the bridge N of the old one, they stuck that sucker on top of one of the best winter holes in that lake. There was some killer ledges full of brush and if it was cold and overcast them suckers laid in there and sucked in jigs till the sun popped out...

Is the ski road still the channel up the lake from there? Won a bet I could run from there back to Burges on a full moon without cutting the spotlight on. Got a little hairy around catfish pond till I could see the telephone poles, but I won the bet.:D
