Fished about 4 hours yesterday afternoon and 4 hours this morning. Wind was near hurricane strength. But don't see my 80 year old brother much and needed a visit. Sorry no pics but overall we had fun. Caught at least 20 bass, with six being keepers in the 14 to 15 inch range.(weighted wacky) And caught 2 crappie.(monkey milk/red jighead) I got enough fish for a while in the freezer now. I will say this, that was two old men in my boat. I feel since my brother is my only sibling left, I handled whatever he wanted best I could while there. Bass were shallow, and the crappie were in about 4 feet. My favorite crappie bait for there was in my shop in Iowa, La. Haha I had a senior moment and put that case in the wrong bag. Oh well , had a grand time, except found out shoulder is still not healed. Getting old is not for sissies.
PS had to clean fish with hand knife. Never had 2 electric knives go out on the first fish before. HAHA Well off to amazon I go.

Forgot to mention, none of the fish I cleaned had eggs in them. Also, both of my electric knives bit the dust on the first fish. I had to break out the old hand filet knives. Only sliced myself one good one and only stabbed myself once. Lots of blood. Oh well.
