    Default Old River at Morganza

Haven't fished this lake in years. River came up and is dropping slowly again at 25.4 feet today and expecting to drop to 21 feet within the next 6-7 days. Is it worth my time to take a ride out there now or should I wait a few more weeks?

    Tiger..,
If it was June or July I’d tell you it would definitely be worth a try…early march I’m not so sure, but I’d go anyway !!!
I’d start by fishing the buttonwoods across from the landing then just keep moving & hope I could find them somewhere…
And if the river keeps falling they just might be around the cypress trees soon!
Go…& come back with a good report for us..!
