    Default Grand Bayou 9-21-23

Hit up Grand Bayou in Coushatta yesterday. Overcast with a light wind, it turned into a great day. Started fishing around 9am. Couldn’t get the fish to chase a road runner, but once I put on one of my gray hand ties, they commenced to chomp!

Caught most of my fish from schools on East end of lake, with the last 9 or 10 coming off of tops. Once they stopped biting off of tops, I headed home. Headed back to ramp around 2pm, started to get hot!

Gray ghost jigs can ketch'em for sure. Great job. Adding some slabsauce is my trick. Makes them hit harder and hang on longer.
