Default Been gone awhile now back ! UPDATE

    Hey Everyone !
Good to be back and finally took the time to figure out my login info !
Miss the crappie.com gatherings , good to see it’s still happening .

Many know I own a rental cabin on Larto that sleeps 14 people with a private boathouse . All for your group or family.
    I was guiding on Saline/Larto complex .
The complex has really taken a hit as of late , so I had to move our guide service to Toledo Bend where we have been catching quality fish . Some SLABS !
If you head to Toledo it HOT, fish early and on my tops I am catching fish 25-30 ft deep , using shiners and jigs like monkey milk . GO small , smallest you can . We are fishing around 12-15ft deep just above the tops. Fish are tight to the cover . We have to freshen up the tops every 10-14 days with some more sweet Gun trees.
Key is to keep moving .
Good to be back , we should have a crappie.com weekend at Toledo bend !
New water park has opened mid lake , cypress bend resort has a beautiful golf course and cabins . Cabins and places to rent are everywhere and the fishing in Fall , Winter -June is phenomenal!
Saline Larto just doesn’t have the fish anymore sadly. Needs a high water and the state killed all the grass.

Good luck and hope to see the old timers and met some of the new members
    Happy Fishing Good luck
Picture is rental place on Larto lake by the store . Rest are some slabs we catching with clients on the pontoon. Name: IMG_0055.jpg

Good to see you Brendon. Man if I was not in a pickle right now I'd be calling you for a trip that I promised Linda some time back. We were talking about it a few weeks back and the manure hit the fan for me. I'm still in the hospital and will be for some time. Be assured when I'm through this treatment (which could be months) I'll be looking you up, God willing. Welcome back, PPG

Bruce, the second weekend in November is the Darbonne gathering. We haven't had a Toledo Bend gathering in a few years due to lack of participants. MoSlab tried to keep it going for a few years but without much participation from members, he gave up on it, same as I did with Larto gathering.
