    Default Old River Morganza

Feeshed my Fav O Rite MS river oxbow yesterday afternoon.

Made da landing bout noon. Launch fee is now $10. They say Lability insurance went up. Ya gotta pay too play.

Conditions? perfect! Water is still purty. Nice Strong south wind. MS river is on a slow rise.

Feesh were 4 to 12 feets deep in 20 feets of water. Black n Chart tube wiz da lure of choice.

Rickey, the water in old river stays colder for much longer than in the surrounding lakes. The water that gets into old river from the Mississippi in frigid. I've caught sacs in old river that had eggs in late April well after everything else around here has spawned.
