What type of jig head do y'all like to use. I know weight plays a factor at different times of the year. List color preference, type of hook and everything else about your preferred jig head. Hand ties included cause I'm thinking about trying my luck with that art.

I don't know that I have an absolute favorite but the new Crappie Magnet Eye Hole jigs are pretty nice. I will be using some for hand ties.

I use 1/16 most of the time but have used 1/8 & 1/4...depends on how fast I want to fish...pink is my preference...I really like the sickle hook....hardly ever use weedless...

I’m rather new to crappie fishing seriously. With Livescope you can certainly see that sometimes fish don’t like a big bait. And more often they will nip at the jig. When that happens, I shorten everything up. Smaller jig, trim tube (both ends). That makes a huge difference sometimes. Another thing I learned, is fish often don’t like a drop shot falling through them before the jig gets there.
I’m really interested in the eyehole jigs. Where can I get some?
    Thanks!

They are available on the Crappie Magnet website. I bought the Brandon Smith series. Support those that support us.

Straight casting to cover, I like a unpainted ballhead jig 1/16oz w/#2 Aberdeen hook (weedless).

Livescope flippin', I like the same thing (but not weedless) and I use a double jig rig.

I've used many painted jigs when Pushing .... no real standout color comes to mind.
