Default TOUGH DAY ON DA BAYOU 2/15/2023

Took my Bride on Da Bayou Lacombe and had a ruff time finding them. Water temp on Da Bayou was 58 f and 63 F up the dead end subdivision canals. Like JR says conditions were perfect. High variable 20 mph winds, water level 2 feet below normal , rain intermittent and the fish we found were not very playful. Kept two 12 inch Blackies and one 16 inch blue cat for the grease. threw back several tiny bass and perch. I caught my first shinner however. Never knew that got that big. Love is in the water with those 63 F water temps so I'll be back looking for them next week.

    Bon Temps on Da Bayou!!

Think about it! What else this week gave you that much pleasure? God is good.

I really loved your post. You have such a good outlook on life.

You gonna have to come over here, let me slip you up on something that pulls back. Once the Wastehouse goes down for sure there too.
