Made my first sac-a-lait trip of winter this year on Friday.....first stop was Saline Bayou by Dry Larto Island.....picked up a few there....moved over to Youngbloods area and found them.....the rest of them were caught off bottom structure (7'-12' deep) ...dont think color mattered cause as i would approach the structure with jig, they would come out from hiding and take it......the two colors that were catching was Monkey Milk (Bobby Garland) and mardi gras in a regular tube jig......cause of the wind i stayed in the area but if i could have, would bet that i could have limited out finding structure and fishing it.....did make a run to Long Branch but wasnt much showing up on electronics and giant salvinia was in areas i want to fish....

Came out with 30 at end of the day....Few of the bigger ones i had...
