Thread: Safe and sound from D’Arbonne gathering.

It was a long and tiring drive back but 6 hours is a cheap price to pay for all the wonderful fellowship we shared. It was great to see old friends and make new ones. It was also sad not to see some old friends that didn’t make it. I was really looking forward to seeing y’all again.

The food was excellent as usual and brother Warren’s chicken and sausage gumbo has no rival. Of course the fried slabs were the best as they always are, no better eating fish in the world. Randy and D’s cakes were delish as were Miss Bonnie’s sour lemon pies and spice cake.

Of course Saturday night meal was capped off with drawings for some wonderful sponsor provided items. So a big THANK YOU to all that gave, we really appreciate it and do our best to support you year round.
