Hi y'all. Kinda sortA interested in purchasing some chest waders. Preferably neoprene with some half decent insulation in the booting. Also, not looking to drop a lot of coin......of course, not that high on the importance scale. Any user recommendations would be appreciated. Thx
Adam.

Why neoprene?
I have been wearing breathables for twenty years. They're not as durable as neoprene, but they're much more comfortable.
I'm currently wearing Orvis waders, but Bass Pro and Cabela's also have good ones.
Thx. I'll research a bit more. I figured neoprene for durability. I'll be hunting as well as fishing with these in the swamp and river. Don't mind whatever for river but would prefer more rugged for hunting in the swamp management area.

I prefer Neoprene, to me it's more like wearing jeans and NOT baggy clothing.

I have owned numerous pairs of Cabela's neoprene to hunt the backwater and have had no problems. I buy their less expensive ones and they last for years.
Our winters aren't that cold,.....I wear my 3mm neoprene waders mostly.......5mm waders when it gets real cold....(not often)

Thx guys. Thx Dwayne. Didn't see you're response bf I posted.
If I can keep partially dry I'm usually good.as what Mo said, cold isn't much a factor. I'd just like to get 3 seasons from a pair, heavily used. Outside of the hunting, I'll be venturing into new territory, for me, wading certain bayou areas come spring when my time will be limited.

I don't hunt, so I don't know what people are looking for in "hunting" waders. For just fishing, though, neoprene has pretty much gone the way of the dinosaur. I guess it depends on what you'll be doing the most of.
