Default Two Quick Trips To Louie

Went to Louie this morning. Got there around 8 am. Parking lot nearly full. Launched the boat and the big motor wouldn’t crank. Loaded boat and went home. Put cranking battery on charger and went to O’Reilly’s for a set of jumper cables for boat. Came back, took a nap, then went back to Louie. Got there at 5 pm. Fished Lovelace Lake and caught 5 tiny crappie. Changed location to the creek. Caught 3 nice crappie and a couple more dinks. Didn’t need the jumper cables, but I got them!! I will try them again in a few days.
Water was up a couple feet but clear except near shore. Ski boat wakes.

Remember the olé quote " A boat is a hole in the water surrounded by wood in which one pours money " Post pictures of new jumping cables. LOL

Looks like crappie around east central Louisiana are taking vacation. Can't buy a crappie bite on the old rivers around Vidalia.

Water changed a lot in last couple days. Also cooler. Tensas was muddy and running Monday, clear and not much current today. I didn’t fish today, but I went over the bridge. There were more fishing boats on Louie yesterday than on Labor Day. Also fish were a bit deeper. They were suspended shallow over deep water when it was hot.
