whatever floats your boat. personally I dont use electronics much and do a lot of ketchn anyway, even tho I have a good SI unit it hasn't been on much but finally got to a dealer and supposedly it's ready to work so I will try it as on my home lake we go hit docks mostly and should be good for that. but I fish off the bank more than I do in my toon or someone else's boat. simply because at my couple of home lakes it's easy to do and all you have to do is drive couple minutes there.
few folks I know who have LS who are older all have had trouble getting it to work properly as it's user errors and get frustrated. we don't have much patience with new things much.

Good catch PPG. Get ready to spend some money....
And going with someone like Bob will certainly help you cut down the learning curve

Jimmy you are so right. Besides being a great slab catcher even before LS, Bob is a great teacher. He showed me more on that one trip than I would learn by my self on many trips.

I follow Mr. Wells on facebook and if there is anyone i'd want to show me how a livescope worked, it would certainly be him. I still haven't seen one in action... i'm sure once i do, i'll have to pony up the $ and get one on my skiff.
