    Default Post spawn doldrums?

I know they have to eat and they're somewhere but, man, it's been tough. Ready for the water to fall and water temps to rise. I do better from summer to late fall than I do during the spawn and post spawn. It's not even worth fighting the gnats right now!

Yep, see that the river's gonna be down to 12 feet by next weekend. That should help!

I haven't fished much lately, but I went for a couple of hours Sunday morning. The fish where I was were still spread out and somewhat shallow. Deep tops had few fish if any. Best pattern was points with grass in 5-10'.

Well, maybe not. River's gonna rise back up to almost 15 again.

Some people like it but post spawn transition is worst time to fish all year imo.

That’s why I like my saltwater mixed with my freshwater fishing. So lucky to live where we live.
