Default Union canals St. Patrick’s day

Fished this evening and picked up a few. They were on the base of trees only and tight to them. Didn’t catch a single fish in tree tops which I thought was odd. The water was still pretty muddy, it was a chore to find decent water and be out the wind. Black n chartreuse slim Jimmy’s 2ft under cork.

It’s low, still the same as a few weeks ago. Report back and let us know how you do!

Well, best way to describe it... It sucked. Caught 3 big enough to keep. Water was low and dirty in most spots.

That’s no fun. Went back Sunday with a buddy and we managed 15 keepers. It was tough though, had to really get them mad to bite and we fished for 6 hours. Water still looked bad. My buddy outfished me big time. I was using black/chartreuse. I would get a bite and miss the fish, he would flip in with blue/white hair jig and seal the deal

Yeah, black/chartreuse & purple/chartreuse is what we fished. plastic & hair jigs. they sucked equally.
