    Default Amelia 2/27/22

Made a quick trip to Amelia Sunday. Found a few fish shallow on wood. Fished with purple/chartreuse hair jigs 10-12" under cork. Kept 10 sacs and 2 bass.

Great catch, everything points to a spawn in a couple weeks. Yesterday water temperature was 54 degrees.

It was tough for sure. First pass in a lil short canal, i caught 5. Thought i was gonna fill up the box. Slowed down and hit every knee, stump, root, etc... on the second pass, i caught 1.

Yeah buddy. Should be really good this weekend if its as warm as it says its gonna be. Seems like every weekend in February a cold front came through Thursday or Friday and pushed the water out and it was cool/cold.
