Red face looking to get the boat out and get some hooks wet

It's been a while since I had time to get the line singing, reel peeling good times being out on the lakes of north Louisiana.
As most of you know, I'm the sister of Fishin' Magician. He is currently overseas. I send this message out to find where the perch
are. Thought about going to Grand Bayou Reservoir, Lake of the pines is a bit far, cross lake is sometimes hit or miss. Caddo is most
of the time a great idea. Trailering out takes some time from Shreveport, but is sometime well worth the haul. I saw some boats on the
red river which made me think that twelve mile bayou might have the slabs. Catching some Wishing for a February connect on some action
to reel in some sacalait because crappie is my favorite to add to a nice day on the water. Just got the boat tuned up and need to run it and get some hooks wet.
Thank Y'all for reading, giving me any advice you have on the next couple of days while I have some time to catch a smile and hopefully some fish to fry.

fishin for some north Louisiana Lake leads for dem honey holes/ under bridges / up in some stumps. let me know if you have the time

Wish I could be of assistance, but I barely know where to look here in my area lol folks may just be busy so give them some time. I am sure you will find a good spot anyway.

I haven't take my boat out in a while, but deep water in Mooringsport or Uncertain,TX may be the ticket on Caddo. I saw good reports catches on Bistineau a month or so ago, but I don't know anything about that lake. Haven't bought a sticker for Cypress in a while, in front of the launch off Parks Rd is a deep bowl and there is usually a crowd there when they are biting.

You've probably caught more fish with your brother than I ever have, so I'm not sure I'm providing any beneficial information. Regardless, I hope you find some fish, and glad to hear Markham is doing well.

Tip: The best fishing spots when cold winter day is the one closest to the boat ramp.

Hey Mattie! How have you been? I wish I could help you out with the fishing up north, but the only place I have gone to lately was Larto and we did catch some crappie SHALLOW! Which was a surprise, the water temp was 48! Would have never tried shallow if Mo Slab hadn't seen someone catching them shallow and gave me that tip also. Anyway, hope you and your family are doing great! Tell Markham we all said hi.

Been a while s since I fished up there. I would try Grand Bayou, or Caddo if you know where to go. My go to place was LOP, it is probably in transition right now. Gotta get a Texas license. Call your mom and get my cell number. Call me in an hour or so. I can tell you where I usually found them this time of year. Caught one in March 2 years ago that was 2.5#.

Thank each and every one of Y'all. I'll send the hellos to Markham. He, Ines (his wonderful wife), their first born girl Romi and the two and a half week old Baby girl Cleo are safely living these exciting days in Germany where he spends half of his years these days. I appreciate all the leads, the fishing reports are so thoughtful and I look forward to checking out some of these hot spots and hopefully finding some fish. Mmmm.. and maybe a fry in our near future.
