It was epic…a true Bistineau Beatdown!!

Back on Bisteneau this morning from 8-1:30. Real airish this morning at 48 degrees. Water temp was 52 degrees. Back to top hoppin, stump jumpin, livescope smokin, crappie thumpin. We fished in 6-12 FOW, 3-12 FD. One pole, one jig, using the Grey Ghost. No telling how many we caught but we ended up keeping 100. I was headed to another top and Juicy said, "we are done". I said, "what"? He said, "we got 100". So off to warm up the electric knife. We left them biting.

It doesn't make them bite. It does keep you from fishing dead water. It shows you the fish and sometimes they run to your jig and turn and run from it. Sometimes they run to the jig and just look at it. You can start easing the jig up and lead them upward and sometimes the will hit it. Most of the time you just let it down in the fish and be still as possible. It is definitely a game changer and I recommend you get one. Most of the Black Crappie are on the tree tops. Most of the White Crappie are on the stumps on the bottom.
