The fishing is great as long as you can get to these spots. When the water drops, my fishing is over. Any suggestions?
    Overseas + Halliburton = Iraq ?
You must have a large bass boat if you cannot fish when the water drops.
No problem. I am presently waiting for my boat to get out of the shop. When it does Sacalait Steve and I will get together with you and do some fishing.
    Keep the faith.
I can't leave now; They fixen to turn on.

Welcome to crappie.com and the LA board......I see you have already met a couple of our members and are already talking "crappie." We're glad to have you as a member and are looking to hear more reports from you and your fishin' friends. Best of luck, basinfisher, and again.....welcome.

Welcome aboard, Basinfisher. I also work for Halliburton, out of the C.S.C. in Lafayette. I work a 14/14 hitch,( sort of ) and go offshore to supervise foamed cement jobs. I was just called off the lake to go offshore, tomorrow, a week early. I may be moving to Lafayette, in the next year or two and will sure need some advice, from all the guys on here, on where to fish in that area.---Pooch

First of all, welcome to crappie.com and the LA board! Yes, we do have members in your area, and I'm sure they will be more than glad to help you in any way they can. I'm surprised they haven't jumped on your post already, but they may arrive soon. On another topic, I sent a reply to your email, but for some reason it was kicked back to me thru the postmaster. I will try to resend it later tonight, and in the AM tomorrow if it still doesn't go through. I will contact you thru the LA board if the email still won't fly. Regardless, welcome again and good luck!

    Benthook,
Welcome to the site. I am sorry I can not be of much help in regards to information about the Bell River area. I have never been there.
However, I am interested in knowing more about the LABEST Crappie Circuit, how it works and the tournaments you speak of.
I can't leave now; They fixen to turn on.
