Welcome from Brouillette.
Want to first say “Hello” to everyone. I just moved to Central last July and am looking for places to fish (prefer to stay east of the dreaded bridge but not opposed to it) Went to the Tickfaw and launched at Boopalus on Hwy. 22. Rode all the way to Lake Maurapas and back up the other side of the bridge for a ways just scouting. Im from north La. and mostly fished the lakes up there. Don’t really have any experience fishing a river. Would appreciate any pointers anybody will give. Really need some sacs in the freezer. Thanks!

Welcome to the group. Go look for JigRig's posts...he fishes Tickfaw River sometimes, and may have some information you could use in them.
