    Default Seeking banking fishing in East TX/South OK/South AR


    Hey folks. I have a co-worker that's looking for a get-away place within a few hours drive from Shreveport. They'd like something with an opportunity to fish from the bank or a pier, and didn't specify a target species so she may not be picky.

    Would anyone have some lake suggestions in those areas that have accommodations on the water with fishing opportunities, so I can pass them along to her?

    Chicot Lake in Ville Platte, LA. The state park cabins are pretty nice. I know its not the direction you asked for but its an option

    There is Martin Creek Lake and state park it's south of Longview in Tatum, TX. and others.
