Made another trip on Friday (12/18).....water was up from recent rains, a little above pool stage.....same thing as previous trips, catching in the 10'-14' range fishing on the bottom.....using my electronics to find the fish and get them to bite......early morning bite just wasn't there and didn't start till the sun and wind showed up......over the course of time I found several brush piles, as I would pass by them, I'd drop a single jig in there and catch a handful from each one.....best jig was the Bobby Garland baby shad in Monkey Milk, along with a mardi gras, blue/white or black/chartreuse mixed in.

At the end of the day, brought home 29 fish and caught more that were let go.....FYI, Muddy Bayou road is still in great shape if anyone is using or wanting to use Phil's landing on Cross Bayou.

This past Saturday, we got about 1.5" of rain in the area, so the complex should continue to rise.
