A public launch is at exit 121 off I10 at the rest area....Water level is good..was rising but seems to have leveled off...Lake has lots of stumps....If you are not familiar with the lake, just follow other boats to find the boat lanes....fish may be staging...you might find some shallow and some deep...fish close to the bottom...I use shiners but many use jigs...Henderson is a "hit or miss" lake for most folk.....you will catch bass, crappie (we call them sac-a-lait) bream, gar, etc....you can catch a few now but the bite is not the best according to reports I have heard....best thing to do is look to see where other boats are fishing....they are there for a reason....I think duck season is on so some boats may be hunters....
