I didn't think it would be good but I had to go and see. Lots of dead paddlefish floating around and maybe a thousand buzzards. Managed to catch one tiny crappie. Waters dropped a lot but still has a way to go. It's iced tea colored. Nobody else trying.

It appears to be landlocked but it really isn't because all that water connects at some point as it drains to a major river where the paddlefish live. I'm thinking they're not adapted for the low oxygen water in that pond because I only saw one other dead fish and it was a crappie.

It might have smelled a little bit but it was hard to tell with those stinking paddlefish. There's definitely a lot of life there with all the bird activity and all the stuff showing up on the fish finder

I was there that afternoon. I only saw one other boat, Maybe that was you. I caught 2 nice size catfish, and another one broke my line. No white perch. and yes, lots of buzzards. But, I didn't see any dead fish where I was.

Yep I was gone probably before you got there. Dead spoonies were mostly on the North end of the rest area. You kind of had to be looking for them as they were fairly rotten and up in the bank veg. Some places the buzzards were ganged up on the carcus.
