Bill the way the Cajun's luck has been running lately maybe he can get you on some fish!:D Waiting on the report! :p
Cajun Dave and I are headed out for Grand Bayou early in the morning. It's unusual that I can fish on a weekday, and I'm glad to be getting out for a day. If GB doesn't pay off, we'll hit another lake and try it there. The crappie have been slow to take a bait lately, but we're going to give it a try. If any of you guys get on the LA board please check for any disputes, which I don't think will happen. Thanks! :D

There are two things to aim for in life: First, to get what you want; and after that, to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieves the second. Author unknown, but I like it!
I think Dave will find yall some fish. And as for the board, I think we can all behave for a day or two, so don't worry bout it. Go catch some fish and show us some pics, even if Dave has to be in them.....lol
You can't fish with a hung line!
BamaFan.....Dave and I both needed either more skill or more luck. We spent most of the day just trying to find the crappie, and all we could catch were two bass and one bluegill!! Seemed most of the other crappie hunters left the lake early for the same reason. Go figure!!
Johnny......Neither one of us are not very savvy about Grand Bayou, but we covered every stump, log, bush or tree that may have a crappie there, but to no avail. We fished deep and shallow, busted again. Regardless of getting skunked, it was a good day just being out on the lake.
I'll post what I have tomorrow AM.

Mr. Bill, sorry to hear that yall didn't have any luck today. It still beats staying home doing "honey do's" or going to work.

Bill, I'm glad you could get out and look for them. Them crappies are giving eveyone a fit right now and showing their rearends!
Catch and Release: Catch the slabs and Release the little'uns
You got that right Mo, but we got it in the rear too!! All day!! We'll get back after them when and if we can, and I plan on reducing their numbers! The crappie seem to have refused to bite just about everywhere in this area, maybe the constantly changing weather?? Even Cajun was astounded that it was so bad.Originally Posted by Mo'nBack
