    Unhappy no fishing blues

Haven't been able to go for the past two weeks, b/c of work. And when I am off, I have too many home obligations. I start getting cold sweats when I think about it much. It's funny, I never got this way when I used to just bass fish. I blame this website :D
It was so bad that I waited til the house took a nap today and snuck into the storage shed to caress some lures, thinking it would relieve some of the stress. Not enough. I cleaned out funky ice chests. Not enough. I made a new crappie tackle box strictly for bank fishing. Not enough. I cleaned the cork on my rods and lubed up my reels. Not enough. I wrapped my face in 4 lb. Trilene XL and layed on the floor flopping around for about 10 mins. It felt good, but was just not enough...... I now have a band aid on my lip.

I could write some fish related Robert Johnson style blues songs right now. Guess it could be worse, but I don't see how

Unhappy I feel your pain MS!

The only thing I can tell you is somewhere down the line you are going to have to do something for yourself. Honey do's are ok, chores etc. If you always put these first you will never get to do anything you want to do. Then guess what happens, one day you die! What then? Make some time to do something you love! GO FISHING!

I learned this the hard way! I'm a list maker, if I work off my list my enjoyment was always at the bottom and guess what? I never made it to the bottom. Now I start from the bottom and work my way up! The list will be there tomorrow but you may not! GOOD LUCK!

Default A Better State of Mind....

Hey Micro, with all that gear you can't afford NOT to go fishing. I'm kinda home bound taking care of a parent and don't get out very much myself, but when I do I can really appreciate being out on a lake. Seems to soothe the mind even if I don't catch a boatload. Load your gear and hit the lakes, you'll feel relaxed and in a good mood when you return. Best of luck to ya!! :D

Someone needs to get out of the house....lol.... Like it was said in an earlier post, sometimes you just have to go, as for that list, if its on the list, it obviously hasn't been done yet, so one more day isn't gonna hurt it.
You can't fish with a hung line!

You summed it up perfectly Bama. The only problem is the more you go the more you want to go. I've been fishing over on LOTP all day Wed, Thur, then took the camper over there and fished Friday afternoon, and most of Saturday an Sunday. I've been home for only a few hours and I'm already thinking of when I can get back over there. It's addictive! Maybe if I do 12 hours of Honey-does today I can go back Tues?
