Man that slight breeze must have been nice, you got to love the ones that only require 3 drift socks and 2 anchors to slow you down. Sounds like you should have stayed at Boyce all day.......Thanks for the report.
Went to Boyce on the Red this morning. Water is very high and muddy. ALL the rock getties are under water. Caught 15 there. Loaded up and put in at the Old Colfax landing and ended up with 3 there. It looks real good, but no fish. All day I had 2 that were big enough to keep, so I throwed them all back. If any of you go to the river, please be careful. Fast current, logs floating down it, and you can't see any obsticles such as pileings or getties.
I had a pretty good breeze all day too! I think it was gusting up to 80 mph!

You can't fish with a hung line!
I thought about some of you guys out on the lakes today as I was raking up Magnolia leaves. I had no more than finished raking them up when another sustained wind blew another bunch of leaves down....twice!!! I wondered how bad it was on all the lakes, glad I wasn't fishing today.
