Dwayne lives 15 miles from the coast. His house is on a natural high spot and has many large oak trees around it. It's the most peaceful setting. I pray the trees broke the force of the winds and none fell onto the house.

Hey guys and Po, thanks for the concern and sorry I took so long to get on here, A LOT going on. Me and my family are safe with BigJohn (THANK GOD FOR CRAPPIE.COM FAMILY!!!!) FishinMagician even called and offered me a place as he was leaving to go back to Germany!)
My house is one of the VERY FEW that sustained almost NO DAMAGE, one very minor edge cap of the roof is gone, doesnt evect the house at all!
Chip those beautiful oaks aren't very beautiful right now but they still there and still standing! Did have one of my pecans trees fall, which would not have been a problem EXCEPT it fell on my boat, and I'm 5 miles from lake Claiborne with NO BOAT! lol. Doesn't look like any damage to boat except maybe a flat tire. I'll know more once I can get the tree off.
Danny said he may have a couple of shingles ruffled but that was it for his house, said his camper was totaled though.
My mom and dad are also up here with me and unfortountately, there house is totaled the best I can tell. But God is GREAT and he saved my house so they will have a place to stay until we can get them back up again! Louisiana Strong!!! I will post some pictures in a minute. Thank you all for your prayers and concern! And I can't end this without mentioning what an ANGEL John has found in his girlfriend Sybil! She drove us down yesterday, helped us clean out mom and dads freezers and move some stuff from their house to mine.and clean out our freezers and drove us back! Angels really do walk among us!!!
    Thanks again my crappie.com FAMILY!!!-

More pictures of mom and dads place taken by his neighbor's drone. These give you a better view of the devastation but God is Great and we are safe!Name: IMG_1872.jpeg

Thank God y'all are all safe and house house is fine. Your Mom and Dad's look heartbreaking. Your oaks did their job and they should sprout up in due time. Like I offered "D", I ain't much but if I can be of any help just give a call. I'm not that far.
    Blessings,
