    Default Hurricane?

Was just wondering what everybody is planning on doing, are you leaving or gonna ride it out? I live just a few miles north of Shreveport, and I'm planning on staying here unless it becomes stronger than it is now.. I lived in Hattiesburg ms when Katrina came thru, and I told my wife that I'd never ride it out if it was over a category 3. But during Katrina I was only 60 miles from the coast. So I'm hoping it'll kinda break apart or at least wind velocity will slow down before it gets here.. y'all be safe and if you have a well with no generator, make sure to fill up every bucket jug, bathtub or whatever you have. You can't flush the toilet without water. Katrina taught me that lol. And if you're anywhere close to the coastline, please evacuate, from past experiences i can promise you that you don't want to spend 12 to 15 hours in winds of excess 100 mph

I'm not too far from you, and will be working from home tomorrow, as long as we don't lose power. We haven't lost it often in the past 6 years, and never for long, but this will be the first time we've had something expecting to hit us this hard. I picked up a case of water, and plan to pickup (or look for) batteries on the way home for the flashlights. We've got candles, and most of a 5 gallon water jug in the cooler, and a gas stove if needed. We do have a well, but are on city water now, so not reliant on a pump, but may still fill a tub with water, but then I'll have to pray we don't have to climb in it if a tornado comes. LOL

Best of luck to everyone in the way of this. Particularly Dwyane down in L.C. I hope you all stay safe!

We decided to leave Brouillette to make a fishing vacation out a bad situation. Were I live if I was to lose power I would be the last to get reconnected so we are in Henderson, Henderson Tx till tomorrow then we’ll look for a place to fish depending on how much rain we get over here. Y’all stay safe, Shadow & D.

Chip, Lake Marvaul a little southeast of Henderson has some nice slabs in it. I have a friend who's daughter lives near there and he goes fishing when he visits her. He said under the bridge is great sometimes.
