I talked with my son yesterday and he said that D'arbonne is down 3-4 feet from normal pool. Any idea how much lower it will be come gathering time.
We used the old road last time it was drawn down.
Have they started the draw down for this year yet?

I know several of us were concerned whether or not Darbonne was gonna happen this year. Well I talked to Juicy on that other social media platform and he assured me that it IS GOING to happen this year. They have the lodge booked and he will start asking for donations in October. Still not sure I will be able to make it this year, but I am going the TRY! Will just have to see how work is at that point in time! Hope to see you all there!

At the current rate the lake should reach the target of 75 ft about 10/15. At that point they will adjust the gates and try to maintain that level. Since there is normally a flow over the spillway it may require to keep a gate open to maintain the level. Sent from my SM-T510 using Crappie.com Fishing mobile app
