Size: 66.9 KB, I had a mercury 25 and his a mercury 40, both tiller steer 2 stroke, his 40 hp is 10 years newer with electric start so I said sure, we completed the swap last weekend, that 40 looked big on my 15 ft Jon boat, I was worried the weight difference was going to make it sit too low in the rear. We went to false river yesterday to try it out, needless to say it did perfect, the weight really made no difference at all, but it gets on plane quicker and gained about 7 mph. We jigged around some piers for a bit but caught nothing. Electric start is nice.
