Fish moving water for bass on Black. Concordia crowded. Let you know about LSJ next week. There's a report on Larto on here.
Me and some pals going for the weekend to stay at Black River lake. It jumped up, so not sure how perch or bass will act.... Any report from that part of the world? Concordia,St John, BRL?

Those lakes on the east side of the state looked like Mississippi parking lots with their lakes closed to fishing. I didn't see a post on their board about anyone catching.

Went to Lake Saint John this morning. Skunked!! Now this is only the 3rd time I've been on the lake. Didn't get shiners. Had one white bass on for a second, but he got off. Post front, water up, but looked ok. Talked to a man with an Express Boat from Visalia Marine. He caught a few, but just a few. Not nearly as crowded on Friday as on Saturday or Sunday. I'll give Concordia a try soon.

Took a late evening trip on Concordia tuesday, spent most of the time looking for a lost outboard prop. My friend lost it, and tied a string on a tree to mark the spot. I looked with 'bird SI9mega and couldn't find it. Just to be sure, I tied my spare prop to a rope and the rope to a boat cushion. I could see it clearly on mega, and the image didn't look like a prop. It was bright like you would expect metal to be, but it had kind of a fuzzy H shape. Caught a couple bream.
Today I went to Bayou Louis. It's near Sicily Island. Bad road, and just passable ramp. Don't go off concrete!! (I didn't, but have talked to people who did) Water high and muddy. Checked my usual spots, no bites, no fish on graph! Went up a creek and started marking fish. Spider rigged with shiners, caught about 10 mostly small fish and several catfish, Water starting to go down around here. Sure would like to go to Larto! Gnats are bad, vanilla extract helps.

Chinkipin have been bitting like crazy on Concordia this past week. Have been catching 30 to 40 most every trip. Was hoping to get to Horseshoe Lake in Monterey this weekend but looks like water will still be high.

Thanks GoFish88! I tried the bream fishing on Concordia today. It took me a while to find the kind of spots that the bream were us
I fished Concordia yesterday, and the bream were as advertised! I don't fish for bream much, so I had to figure out how to find them, I started at a place across the lake from my house where I've seen lots of boats fishing, got plenty of tiny bream. I remembered seeing bream beds on side imaging while looking for a friend's lost propellor, so I put the Bird on right side only side imaging with range at 45 feet. I idled along the bank and quickly located several beds. Started catching better fish. The larger ones seemed to be around fallen trees in 2-5 fow. Used up 50 crickets in a couple hours. Fun afternoon!
Try red worms for the chinkipin, that's what we've been using
