    Default Baton Rouge or surrounding area Bank Fishing


    Good morning folks,

    I recently moved to BR and am trying to get on some Sacs and/or bream. Mainly fish from the bank and am struggling to find some spots. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m willing to travel an hour or so. Any bank fishing on Lake Verret or the Tickfaw? Any help is appreciated! Happy Easter!

    Don't forget to consider ponds. There's a lot being built these days for mitigation on new projects of land development. I've been fishing from a boat the last couple of months and my best spot now is off the bank and the pond where my daughter lives. It's a subdivision pond I throw them back but I caught 14 the other day in about 2 hours I can't match that anywhere else right now
