    Default The Tchefuncate River

Feeshed my favorite river today. Conditions were perfect. Water was up and muddy. Started around 10am and keepers were hard to come by.

All Feesh were caught tight line black n green n chartreuse tube.

I hope I have one of those "Hard to come by" days soon. I drove by Varret Friday and it looked like coffee. Nice box.

I am a disabled vet that is new to the area. I live in New Orleans. Could you tell me where to launch my kayak and a general, non honey hole place to start. I think this might be the closest crappie to me. Thank you.

The 4th street launch in Covington is a perfect place for yaks. There are 3rivers to chose from. The Abita . bogue falaya, and little Tfunky.
Turn at the light on HWY 21 just south of the hospital. Google maps is your friend.
