    Fished daybreak- 11:45, kept 11
    Didn’t catch first fish til 9:30, wasn’t looking good.....blue shiner grub on houseboats
    Chip and his brother in law Burgess pulled cranks and kept 6 and a barfish
    It was windy.....

    We had a good time, fought through the goo, gar and shorts and kept 6 real big fish. That last pic is my B-inlaw with a 15 1/2" fish all of our fish came on C55 crank baits. The Garmin showed fish all morning sure thought we would have done better. The town of Morganza held a motorcycle gathering for the motion picture celebrating the 50 yr anniversary of "Easy Rider" their town had a restaurant Melancon's cafe were a portion of the film was shot. Vergis reported seeing over 1000 bikers at the plack were the cafe once stood. A little bit of trivia.

    Spot had to stay home there is not enough room for another person when he is aboard. He will be back on board for Tuesdays trip.
